3studio was set up as a not-for-profit studio to enable low-budget filmmaking teams to access sound and light controlled, professional facilities at a fraction of the cost usually associated with studio rental or access to professional post-production facilities.
The studio is also a space that we want to make use of to create original content under our 3originals name.
The COVID-19 pandemic has given us time to focus on the planning and pre-production of several original films, the first of which we are now proud to officially announce.
Pioneer is an original Sci-Fi short film set in the not too distant future, written by our very own Paul Massey.
The film is currently in the pre-production stage, initial VFX shots are excellent, storyboards and set design are progressing well and the script is being finalised.
VFX
Being a Sci-Fi film we need some VFX, initial renders have been successful and we're confident that the final production will be spectacular.

What is Pioneer?
Whilst being our first 3originals film, Pioneer is also a showcase of what we can achieve completely in-house. Absolutely everything is being designed, built and produced within 3studio with absolutely no help from anywhere else.
We are using the tools and experience we have gained whilst working through all aspects of film production to create something truly wonderful.
